A Message From Our Treasurer:
Hello Hiram Johnson Warriors PTSA!
This is a reminder of the monthly meeting next Wednesday February 16th at 6pm via zoom.
If you have any agenda requests please let me know and I will get it on the agenda.
I wanted to let all know that we did have a donation link out right now - https://square.link/u/Z7p8vEl2 - to raise funds by straight donation.
We have raised $1028 so far.
The initial goal is $1500 by February 15th.
If you are able and willing please join me in donating.
I saw there were some $100+ donations.
I did donate $100.
Of the 18 donors so far there have been 10 donors that donated at least $50 or more.
The average donation is $57.
A handful of Alumni are coming up big for us with this event.
I do apologize and there should be no pressure, it is a big ask, I never want to take financially from another household but if you are willing and able please look to donate $50.
Thank you to all that have donated so far.
We will use these funds to have an appreciation event for students that earned a certain GPA 3.0? 3.5? for the first semester.
We did discuss having a food truck.
We were getting some info about what the Chando's food truck may cost.
We could also provide financial support to ASB to help them throw a movie night.
Another idea was to have a "Golden Ticket" that will allow a student to bypass the line for lunch.
Please let me know of any other thoughts/ideas you may have.
We will finalize the plan at the upcoming meeting. Meeting documents will go out early next week.
